Kyla Cummins Zollitsch

Pianist, Kyla Cummins Zollitsch, made her television debut on Anchorage Live at the age of 9. She performed Ernest Bloch's piano concerto with East Anchorage High School of Fine Arts orchestra and was also selected to be the piano accompanist for the Alaska State Honor Choir. Kyla also earned second place in both the Junior and Senior Divisions of the Margarite Downey Competition.

Beginning at age 13, Kyla started working as a pianist for Alaska Dance Theatre. Kyla has also been a pianist for the Oregon Ballet Theatre and the Milwaukee Ballet Theatre in Wisconsin.

Kyla Cummins Zollitsch earned her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Portland State University. Her instructors include Ann Fernandez, Dean Epperson, Juliana Osinchuk, Harold Gray and Carol Rich. Kyla performed on many stages throughout the Northwest including the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall. She has also made television and radio appearances.

Kyla currently resides in beautiful Rome, Georgia where she runs her own private piano studio and performs as an accompanist and soloist in the area. Kyla also enjoys running, hiking and backpacking.
